First Presbyterian Men's Group
Presbyterian Men meets every Wednesday at 6 a.m. in Fellowship Hall to read and discuss the Bible. Launched about 15 years ago by Dave Robinson, Tom Talbot and Chuck Schneider, this has been the quintessential small group with normal attendance of 6 to 10 men. All men are welcome to join at anytime, from any and all life and spiritual walks.
“I joined about five years ago having never really ever read the Bible or participated in organized religion. Now our FPC Men’s 6 a.m. Bible Study is the highlight of most of my busy weeks, and I look forward to reading scriptures most everyday. Something good happens every Wednesday morning in Fellowship Hall. — Brad Bartholomew
In 2011, we created a Men’s Directory to help us learn each other’s names. We made the pictures and type large enough to easily recognize friends and names, the first step in fellowship. The directory has been digitized so the entire the album can be downloaded to a computer or mobile device.
In 2012, we started an email string to pre-read the Sunday Scriptures. We preview each reading and try to guess how Pastor Bob or Pastor Ashley may preach. Reading and discussing the scripture beforehand allows the real wisdom of Sunday’s sermon reach a little deeper. We send out an email every other week.

The FPCGV Adult Co-ed Kickball team plays in the City of Grapevine leagues. Because we enjoy playing the same playground game we did as kids, games are light hearted and fun.
The participant cost is usually around $30 per season. There is an additional cost for a "official" team uniform. Persons of all athletic abilities are invited to play and need not be a member of the church. Many of our teammates are friends, family and colleagues.

X-tra Years of Zest
XYZ (eXtra Years of Zest) is a group of men and women generally over 60 years of age, though anyone is welcome to attend. We think of ourselves as older youth who enjoy fellowship and concern for one another.
We meet monthly, from September to June, for potluck luncheons, an activity or mission project and interesting, fun-filled outings. We are a group without a designated leader but in recent years the program has been planned by an informal committee including Dick & Sandy Austin, Paul & Joanne Haefeli, Paul & Ella Mae Horne, John & Edna Malmstrom, and Pauline Robbins.
