- What time is worship? Sunday school?
- Worship services are at 8:30am and 11am. Sunday school is at 9:45am
- How long is worship?
- On average our worship services last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes.
- How big is FPCGV?
- 600 members, 300 families
- What should I wear?
- You will see a variety of styles of dress at FPCGV. Most people dress business casual (khakis, short sleeve shirts, pants). As it cools off, you will see a few more suits and ties.
- WIll I be singled out as a visitor?
- No, we will greet you and you will have the opportunity to sign our guest book. This will allow us to send you more information on our church family. Nametags are optional and can be found at our Welcome Center (in the sanctuary foyer).
- What do you have for children?
- The Christian Education program of FPCGV encompasses all ages in opportunities throughout the year. From Sunday school to mid week fellowship activities to special events, there is something for everyone.
- Sunday Mornings
- 10:00am - Care and educational opportunities continue for our infants through kindergarten. We have a nursery for infants and toddlers. Two and three year old learn about God, sing, and do crafts in Kid's Korner. Four and five year olds have their very own worship experience called Young Children and Worship.
- Sunday school hour - Children ages two through kindergarten experience a tradition class with emphasis on experiencing the love of Christ and being exposed to the primary elements of of Christian faith. Children in the 1st through 5th grades are part of the Workshop Rotation model, called "GIFT: Growing in Faith Together." When children reach middle school age, they return to a traditional model class. Youth in 6th and 7th grade study the New Testament and Old Testament through detailed survey courses. The 8th grade year is spent preparing for Confirmation. During this time, students review Old and New Testament, learn about church history from the beginnings of the church to the present day, emphasizing reformed theology, and learn what it is to begin to walk the Christian walk on their own as they become full members in the congregation. The High School class encompasses 9th through 12th grade students who meet together as one group and study God's word through the context of current events and their own life experiences. The focus is on discussion and reflection.
- Is there a place to congregate?
- Yes, there is a coffee bar on the upper level of our facility. People gather there before and after service.

- How do I get more information?
- Visit our Welcome Center, located in the Narthex on the sanctuary level of the church, for brochures and program information. Greeters staff the Welcome Center before and after Sunday service to answer questions and escort you to areas of interest in the building.
- A Deacon will be at the front of the sanctuary after worship service to talk to you one on one and answer any questions you might have.
